Your Honors will find that Mr Carberry is Demanded of the State
to take his Trial in the Government of Pennsylvania, and you will
also find that relying on the Energy and sufficiency of the judicial
Authority to enforce a proper Obedience to their Proceedings I have
engaged that he shall be ready [by] this Court to be delivered up. I
am therefore to request that your Honors will with all possible Dis-
patch have the said Carberry taken into Custody and conveyed to some
part of the Limits of this State there to be delivered up to the Gov-
ernment of Pennsylvania, and I am also to request that you will give
me Notice of the Time and place that I may forward the Information
to the President agreeably to my Promise

Present as on Yesterday. —
Captain Joseph Chapline returns an Order drawn by this Board
of the 2d Novemr 1782 on the Western shore Treasurer for Five
hundred and twenty four pounds, four shillings and five pence half
penny specie agreeably to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this
State for the use of his late Company of Select Militia which the
Board receive, it appearing that the said Order has not been Satis-
fied by the Treasurer, and that the Money ought to have been paid. —
The Council adjourned 'till Monday the 25th instant
