The following Accounts against Confiscated Property exhibited to
this Board and examined and approved. —
James Christie junr & Robert Christie junr their Bond to Thomas
Cockey Deye dated 21st July 1775 with Interest to the 1st Octr next,
Seven hundred and seventy five pounds thirteen shillings and four
pence — James Christie junr & Robert Christie junr their Bond to the
Revd Hugh Deans dated 30th Augl 1775 with Int to the 1st Octr next
Five hundred and ninety pounds, twelve shillings and six pence —
James Chalmers Bond to Thomas Riche of Pennsylva dated 24
March 1775 with Interest as aforesaid One hundred and fifty seven
pounds. —
A Petition from John Fassitt junr of Worcester County, was laid
before the Board, setting forth, that at Worcester County Court,
held the first Tuesday in October 1781, he was Indicted for an As-
sault and Battery on a certain Sarah Cornwall — that it was sub-
mitted to the Court, who fined Fassitt One hundred pounds red
Money, that the Evidence given to Support the Charge was the
Person who complained to be injured, that She is a person of in-
famous Character, and to whose Oath not the least Credit ought to
be given, which was a Circumstance the Court had not a knowledge
of at the Time the fine was laid — and praying to be relieved from
the said fine, and it appearing from the Certificate of the said Court
that the Facts contained in the said Petition are true — Whereupon
the Board taking the same into Consideration, do order and direct
the said fine of One hundred pounds to be remitted. —
