The Council met
Present a e on Yesterday

Agreeable to the Constitution and Form of Government, the Coun-
cil proceeded to the Choice of a Councillor in the room of James
Brice Esqr who has refused when Aquila Paca Esquire was Ballotted
for and declared duly elected. —

The Council adjourned till Tuesday the 10th of August Instant.

The Hon'ble Saml T. Wright & Charles Wallace Esqrs attended

Special Commissions of Oyer and Terminer and Gaol Delivery
issued by order of his Excellency to Dorchester County directed to
William Ennalls, John Dickinson, Joseph Richardson, Robert Harri-
son and John Smoot in Virtue of the "Act to enable the Governor to
issue Commissions of Oyer and Terminer and Gaol delivery in cer-
tain Cases." —
The above Commns returned unexecuted 27. Augr 1784 —

The Council met

Present the Honorable John H. Stone — Samuel T. Wright Charles
Wallace Esquires —
The Council this Day agreed with Henry Wood to Board James
O'Hara & his Child, to wash, mend & make for them at the rate of
Twenty five pounds per Annum. —
Ordered that the western shore pay to Henry Wood six pounds
five shillings Current money on Account — for the Support and Main-
tenance of James O'Hara a Blind soldier, the Council having Agreed
to allow the said Henry Wood Twenty five pounds per Annum for
