We have enclosed you a Proclamation of the Definitive Articles
of Peace, and desire that you will give public Notice of the same to
the Citizens of County by reading it to them on an ap-
pointed Day at the most public place in the said County.

The Council met Pursuant to their Adojurnment of the 26 Janu-
ary last

Present His Excellency William Paca Esqr Governor
The Hon'ble Gabriel Duvall, John Davidson & Charles Wallace
Esquires.

The Justices of the Peace and Judges of the Orphans Court for
Kent County are re-appointed and continued. —

Commissions issued to John Browne, James Bordley, James
O'Bryan, John Fischer, Clement Sewall, Vinson Benton, Vachel
Downes, John Sayer Blake, Benjamin Sadler, Jacob Ringgold,
Thomas Marsh Foreman, Samuel Turbutt Wright, Arthur Emory
and George Baynard appointed Justices of the Peace for Queen Anns
County. —

John Browne, James Bordley, James O'Bryan, Clement Sewell,
and Vachel Downes Judges of the Orphans Court for the County
aforesaid. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer issue a Certificate to
John Randall agreeably to the "Act proposing to the Citizens of
this State, Creditors of Congress &ca " for Eighty four pounds and
nine pence due him on Continental Loan Office Certificates adjusted
by the Audr General the 12th November 1783. —

Daniel of St Thomas Jenefer Esquire Intendant of the revenue
and all public Monies, Lodges a Bond with this Board, in the Penalty
of twenty thousand pounds, with Robert Couden & John H Stone
Esquires Securities, agreeably to an Act of the General Assembly
appointing the said Danl of St Thomas Jenifer, Intendant. —

The Council adjourned till Saturday the fourteenth Day of Feb-
ruary instant. —
