shillings and nine pence — and to Thomas Kemp Twelve pounds,
seven shillings specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due
from this State" per Accounts and Certificates adjusted the 15th
Instant
That the said Treasurer issue Certificates agreeably to the "Act
proposing to the Citizens of this State, Creditors of Congress &ca "
to John Stevenson for Eighteen pounds two shillings and three
pence — to James Sterret for One thousand seven hundred pounds —
to Daniel Bowley for One thousand three hundred and ten pounds,
seventeen shillings and seven pence and to James Sterret for Two
hundred and forty five pounds, nine shillings and three farthings due
them on Continental Loan Office Certs adjusted the 1st Instant. —
That the said Treasurer issue a Certificate to Peter Webb agree-
ably to the Act aforesaid for Seventy six pounds, five shillings and
one penny due on Continental Loan Office Certificates adjusted by
the Audr General the 15th Instant
That the said Treasurer issue a Certificate to Colo Francis Ware
agreeably to the Act aforesaid for Ninety nine pounds, four shillings
and three pence farthing due on Continental Loan Office Certificates
adjusted by the Audr Genl the 29 November last —
Commission issued to Peregrine Freeland appointed one of the
Coroners of Calvert County. —

The following Letter of Resignation was received from James
Brice Esqr.
" Sir,
As I cannot consistently act any longer as One of the Council,
and as I understand the General Assembly are determined to break
up this Day I think it my Duty to give you this information that
they may fill up the Vacancy occasioned by this my Resignation before
their adjournment over With great respect
