Oaths required by the Constitution and Form of Government and the
Laws of this State and by Subscribing a Declaration of his Belief in
the Christian religion —
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer issue Certificates agree-
ably to the "Act proposing to the Citizens of this State, Creditors of
Congress &ca " to Nicholas Worthington Esquire for Two hundred
and twelve pounds, five shillings and nine pence and to Thomas Giles
for One hundred and five pounds, ten shillings and Eight pence due
on Continental Loan Office Certificates adjusted by the Audr Genl
the 1st Inst
That the said Treasurer issue a Certificate to Henry Oneal Welch
agreeably to the Act aforesaid for One hundred and ninety five
pounds, nineteen shillings and eight pence due him on Contl Loan
Office Certr adjusted by the Audr Genl 21st Novr last.
That the said Treasurer issue a Certificate to John Bolton agree-
ably to the Act aforesaid for One hundred and sixty nine pounds and
six pence due on Continental Loan Office Certificates adjusted by the
Audr General the 23d Novemr last
That the said Treasurer issue a Certificate to David Shriver agree-
ably to the Act aforesaid for Two hundred and twenty three pounds,
ten shillings and a half penny due on Continental Loan Office Cer-
tificates adjusted by the Auditor Genl the 28 November last
That the said Treasurer pay to Elizabeth Haley and Catharine
Sallwood, each, One pound two shillings and six pence current
Money, out of the Money appropriated for Contingent Expences per
accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Philip Coale for the use of Major
Aquila Giles Twenty pounds, five shillings and eleven pence half
penny current money for one Year's Interest on three Certificates
issued under the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " issued
and Dated the 18 May 1782 numbered 447 to 449.
That the said Treasurer pay to James Giles Thirty five pounds
three shillings and three pence, John Quinner Four pounds five shil-
lings and to Richard Seabrook Three pounds, ten shillings specie
agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " per
Certificates and accounts passed by the Aud Gl the 1st Instant.
