Saturday 11th October 1783.
Present His Excellency William Paca Esquire Governor
The Honorable James Brice Esquire.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to James Carroll
for the use of Nicholas Maccubbin One hundred and sixty three
pounds, two shillings and four pence half penny for one Years In-
terest due him the 25 July 1782 on sundry Certificates numbered
from 30 to 42 inclusive issued under the "Act to adjust the Debts
due from this State " and dated the 26 day of July 1781.
That the said Treasurer pay to the said James Carroll for the use
of Nicholas Maccubbin One hundred and sixty three pounds, two
shillings and four pence half penny for One Years Interest due him
the 25 July 1783 on the above mentioned Certificates. —

That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Jones Esquire One hun-
dred and fifty Pounds Current Money Balance of Salary as one of
the Judges of the Court of Appeals to October Court 1783 per Ac-
count passed by the Auditor General. —

The Honorable Gabriel Duvall Esquire attended.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Benjamin Mack-
all the 4th One hundred pounds Current Money for Six Months
Salary as one of the Judges of the Court of Appeals ending April
last per Account passed by A Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Benjamin Rumsey Esquire Two
hundred pounds Current Money for One Year's Salary as one of
the Judges of the Court of Appeals ending this present Month p Acct
passed by the Audr Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to James Murray Esqr one of the
Judges of the Court of Appeals One hundred pounds Current Money
for 6 Months Salary ending this present Month per Acct passed by
the Audr General. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Gassa-
way Seven pounds, nine shillings and ten pence Current Money for
One Year's Interest on a Certificate issued under the "Act to adjust
the Debts due from this State " dated 9th July 1782.

That the said Treasurer pay to Benjamin Rumsey Esqr Forty
four pounds, seven shillings and ten pence Current Money for two
Years Interest on one Cert3 and one Years Interest on the other
issued under the Act aforesaid dated 5th Octr 1781 & 9 May 1782.

That the said Treasurer pay to Benjamin Rumsey Esquire Five
pounds nine shillings and two pence specie agreeably to the "Act to
adjust the Debts due from this State " per Account passed the 12th
May last and also Six pounds, twelve shillings and six pence specie
agreeably to the said Act per Account passed the 10th this Instant
