Monday 18th August 1783.
Present His Excellency William Paca Esquire Governor.
The Honorable James Brice and John Hoskins Stone Esquires. —
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer issue a Certificate to
Allen Quynn Esquire agreeable to the "Act proposing to the Citizens
of this State, Creditors of Congress &ca " for Twenty six pounds,
nine shillings and five pence due him on Continental Loan Office Cer-
tificates adjusted by the Depy Audr the 10th Instant.

Present the Hon'ble Jeremiah T. Chase, James Brice & John H
Stone Esquires
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer issue Certificates agree-
ably to the "Act proposing to the Citizens of this State, Creditors of
Congress &ca " to George Winters for Eighty five pounds, one shil-
ling and six pence and to Conrod Doll for Twenty four pounds, one
shilling & seven pence due them on Continental Loan Office Cert8
adjusted by D Aud 18 Inst.
His Excellency the Governor attended. —
Ordered that the Issuing Commissary deliver to Emanuel Farer
a Wounded Soldier Rations agreeable to a Resolve of the last Ses-
sion of Assembly, keeping a particular Account thereof. —

On Considering the Petition of Adam Neff of Frederick County,
praying to be relieved from a Militia fine imposed on him by a Court
Martial held 29th September 1781 it appeared to us by the Certificate
of Captn Rench, Captn Troutman and several others that the peti-
tioner at the Time the Militia marched to George Town was above
the Age of Fifty years and was not enrolled in any Company We
are therefore of Opinion that the said Fine be remitted, and do order
that the same be remitted accordingly —

If you have any Public Medecine in your Possession, We request
you will supply Doctr Pindle with such Articles as he may Want for
the use of the Troops of the Maryland Line, stationed at Frederick
Town. If you have none we take the Liberty to trouble you to have
them procured in Baltimore and the Account for which will be paid
by the State We are Sir &ca
