Tuesday 5th August 1783.
Present His Excellency William Paca Esquire Governor
The Honorable James Brice and John H. Stone Esquires.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Crisall
Nine pounds, fifteen shillings Current Money, out of the Money put
into the Treasury for the use of the Hospital, on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Johnson Jr Seven hun-
dred and seventy pounds, fifteen shillings and eight pence Current
Money, out of the Money appropriated for the Barges on Account
Walter Jenifer Stone appointed Clerk to the Intendant produced
to this Board a Certificate of his Qualification and the same filed.

The Honorable James Brice Esquire
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Jubb Fowler
Twenty five pounds Current Money for one Quarter's Salary as
Messenger to the Govr & Col to the 1st Instant
That the said Treasurer pay to Zephaniah Turner Esqr One hun-
dred pounds Current Money for One Quarters Salary as Auditor
General due the 1st Instant

Esquires
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Lewis
Four pounds, five shillings, Michael Wickert Six pounds, thirteen
shillings and four pence and Martin Bringman Four pounds, three
shillings and four pence specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the
Debts due from this State " due them on Accounts passed by the
Auditor General. —

Hoskins Stone Esquires. —
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Frank Leeke
Fifty five pounds Current Money for the use of Ralph Forster due
him per Account passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Colo John Gunby Twelve pounds,
six shillings and nine pence Current Money, five pounds thereof to
be by him retained, and the residue for the use of Doctr Arnold Elzey
p Accounts passed
