Wednesday 2d July 1783.

Present as on Yesterday. —

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer issue Certificates agree-
ably to the "Act proposing to the Citizens of this State, Creditors of
Congress &ca " to Doctr Leonard Hollyday for Seventy two pounds,
one shilling and three pence, and to Miss Willey Slye for Thirteen
pounds, nineteen shillings and four pence, due them on Continental
Loan Office Certificates adjusted by the Auditor General the 13th
June.

That the said Treasurer issue a Certificate to Notley Young agree-
ably to the Act aforesaid for Seventy Eight pounds, fourteen shil-
lings and five pence due on Continental Loan Office Certificates ad-
justed by the Audr Genl

Friday 4th July 1783.

Present the Honble Gabriel Duvall, Jer. T. Chase & James Brice
Esquires
Thomas Jenings Esqr exhibits an Account against the Estate of
Lloyd Dulany, forfeited, amounting with Interest thereon to Thirty
seven pounds seventeen shillings and eleven pence Sterling passed
by the Aud. General and approved by this Board. —
David Carcaud formerly a Subject of Maryland, and who left
it since the 30th Day of April 1775, and hath lately returned, ap-
peared before the Council, and did repeat, and subscribe a Declara-
tion of his Belief in the Christian Religion, and did also take, repeat,
and subscribe the Oath required by an Act entitled "An Act for
Naturalization." —

His Excellency William Paca Esqr Governor Attended.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer issue a Certificate to
Allen Quynn Esqr agreeably to the "Act proposing to the Citizens
of this State, Creditors of Congress &ca " for Seventy four pounds,
fifteen shillings due him on Continental Loan Office Certificates ad-
justed by the Deputy Audr the 30th June. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Benjamin Fair-
bern Seven Pounds, eight shillings and One penny specie agreeably
to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " per Certificate
adjusted the 30th June. —

That the said Treasurer issue a Certificate to John Brewer Senr
agreeably to the "Act proposing to the Citizens of this State, Credi-
tors of Congress &ca for Twenty seven pounds, four shillings due
him on Continental Loan Certificates adjusted by the Audr General. —
