That the said Treasurer pay to James Brice and John H Stone
Esquires each One hundred pounds Current Money for a Quarter's
Salary ending the 8th Instant. —

A Proclamation.
Whereas I have been informed by the Honorable Thomas Cockey
Deye, that on Friday night the 11th of April last, four Men in Dis-
guise came to his Dwelling House armed with Blunderbusses and
Cutlasses, three of whom forcibly entered his said House and broke
open several Chests while the other presented a Blunderbuss at the
breast of the said Thomas Cockey Deye and threatned him with in-
stant Death if he moved or made the least Noise or Resistance And
Whereas public Justice requires that such Atrocious Offenders should
be brought to exemplary Punishment I do hereby offer a Pardon to
any one of the said Offenders who shall first give Information to any
Judge or Justice of the other three Persons who were concerned in
the Perpetration of the Crime and Outrage aforesaid. —
Given at Annapolis this seventh Day of May one thousand seven
hundred and eighty three and seventh Year of our Independence. —

Present His Excellency the Governor. —
Benja Stoddert, Gabriel Duvall, Jas Brice & John H Stone Esqrs
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Joseph Harrison
Junr Sixteen pounds, eleven shillings and One penny specie agreeable
to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " per Certa
adjusted. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Johnson Junr Eleven
pounds, five shillings out of the Money appropriated for the Barges
on Account. —
