That the said Treasurer issue Certificates agreeable to the "Act
proposing to the Citizens of this State, Creditors of Congress on
Loan Office Certificates &ca " to James Brice Esqr for Ten pounds,
eleven Shillings and to Ann Brice for eight Pounds, fifteen shillings
and ten pence due them on Continental Loan Office Certs adjusted
by the A Gl 19th Inst
Gabriel Duvall Esquire Attended.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Allen Quynn
Esquire Seventy seven pounds and six pence specie due him for
Wood purchased per Account passed —
Commission issued to Isaac Griest appointed one of the Coroners
for Baltimore County in the room of Thomas Elliott who resigned —

Capt. Gaither represents to us that there are 60 or 70 Sick soldiers
at Frederick Town in the utmost Distress for Want of Shirts &
Overalls. We request you will order to be procured & sent to Capt
Gaither at Frederick Town as soon as possible 75 Shirts, 75 Overalls
for the Sick soldiers. —

Monday 28th April 1783
Present His Excellency the Governor,
Benjamin Stoddert, Gabriel Duvall and James Brice Esquires.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Elcy Redmon
and Mary Connolly each, three Dollars, and to Jub Fowler one
pound fourteen shillings and nine pence out of the Money appro-
priated for Contingent Expences per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Samuel Smith Esquire Six hun-
dred and seventy pounds, five shillings specie due him per Account
adjusted and passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to John Ridout and Benjamin Ogle
Esquires eighty one pounds, seventeen shillings and four pence Cur-
rent Money for One Years Interest due on three Certificates issued
agreeable to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State." —

teen pounds, two shillings and ten pence — Elizabeth Trippe for thirty
three pounds, two shillings and eight pence — Walter Jenkins for fif-
teen pounds, fourteen shillings and two pence — William Perry eight-
een pounds, three shillings and six pence and to Christopher Birk-
