Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Lucy Ridle
sixteen pounds, four shillings and nine pence — Doctr Thomas Kenner
six pounds, eighteen shillings — Thomas Sadler eight pounds, eight
shillings & four pence — and Ignatius Taylor seventeen pounds specie
agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State per
Certa & Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Elizabeth Issabell three pounds,
twelve shillings and six pence specie due her per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Major John Davidson twenty
seven pounds & three pence and Capt Henry Gaither twenty five
pounds, twelve shillings and five pence specie, out of the money
that came from the Havana, put into the Treasury by Major General
Smallwood, to be accounted for & charged to the U States.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Philip Meroney
Francis Thomas and William Thomas two hundred and fifty three
pounds nineteen shillings and four pence Current money due them
for apprehending and delivering up Prisoners of War by Account
passed to be charged to the United States. —
That the said Treasurer pay to William Thomas thirty six pounds
fifteen shillings Current Money, twenty five pounds, ten shillings to be
paid over to John Thomas and the remainder eleven pounds, five
shillings to be paid over to William Selby due them for apprehending
and delivering up Prisoners of War by Account passed to be charged
to the United States.

Permission given to Mrs Hopkins formerly of Chester Town in
Kent County, but late of the City of New York, to return into this
State for the purpose of residing therein and to bring her wearing
Apparel. —
Commission issued to Richard Harwood junr elected Sheriff of
Ann Arundel County, dated 11th Instant.

Tuesday 15th October 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Bennett Anderson
nine pounds, fifteen shillings — William Hall eight pounds and Alex-
ander Cowan forty nine pounds, nineteen shillings specie agreeable
to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " per Accounts
passed. —
Commission issued to Samuel Groome Osborn elected Sheriff of
Harford County. —
