agreeable to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " per
Accounts passed.
Commission issued to John Selby, Nehemiah Holland, Joshua
Townsend, Peter Chaille and James Martin appointed Judges of the
Orphans Court for Worcester County.
Whereas it appears by a Certificate from the Lieutenant of Fred-
erick County that Cornelius Poulson was fined by a Court Martial
on the 17th Day of December 1781 for neglecting to march to George
Town under Lieutenant Colo Wood in the sum of twenty pounds
Specie and it appears by the Deposition of Major Joseph Wells
that he has reason to believe the said Cornelius Poulson was not
able to do Military duty at the Time he was ordered to George
Town We therefore direct that the said fine of twenty pounds im-
posed by the said Court Martial be and is hereby remitted.
Daniel Young of Worcester County by his Petition sets forth
that he was bound over to Court under a recognizance of two thousand
pounds Continental Currency for an Assault, that he attended two
Courts during which time the Evidence never attended, that he by
indisposition was incapable of attending the last Court in consequence
of which an Execution issued that he is exceedingly poor and needy
and prays relief Four of the Magistrates of the said County having
recommended that the prayer of the Petitioner be granted We
therefore direct that the said sum of two thousand pounds Conti-
nental Money be remitted the said Daniel Young and that no further
Proceedings be had on the said forfeited recognizance on his the said
Daniel Young paying the legal fees.
Elisha Mumford of Worcester County represents to the Board,
that he was bound over to October Court last in a recognizance for
