[Council to The Honble Intendant]

We request you will have procured, two Barrels of Brandy or
common Rum for the Use of the Troops about to march. The
Season of the Year requires that they should have some Liquor, and
we imagine this Supply will make them go off chearfully. If common
Rum is purchased, we wish you to have 10 Gallons of good, for the
Officers, but the Brandy will answer both Purposes, if it can be
procured.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas and
Eleanor Lansdale seven hundred and forty one Pounds, nine shillings
& seven pence specie agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due
from this State per Certificates adjusted and passed. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Capt Horatio
Clagett twenty nine Pounds, two shillings and nine Pence and Lieut
Hartshorn forty two Pounds, and nine pence Specie out of the money
that came from the Havana, put into the Treasury by Major General
Smallwood to be by them Accounted for any charged to the United
States.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Captain Edward
Spurrier twenty four Pounds specie out of the money that came from
the Havana put into the Treasury by Major General Smallwood to
be by him accounted for and charged to the United States. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Jub Fowler fifty Pounds specie
for the Purpose of procuring Wood for the Public to be accounted
for.—

second Lieutenant, and Henry Riston Ensign of Captain Charles
