Quantity of Salt to cure all you have, which shall be sent for the first
Moment that offers, as well as for the Beef and Flour now ready.

Your Disposal of the Cattle unfit for Slaughter we think very proper.

Boats are ordered this Day for the Beef and Flour on Wye, which
shall not be discharged until all the Beef and Flour, now ready in
your Hands, are delivered. If you should have any Shorts or Bran,
and there should be Room in the Vessel, you will be so obliging as to
fill her up with them.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Colo Uriah For-
rest late a Comm, for the preservation and sale of Confiscated Brit-
ish property, three hundred and two pounds of the Bills emitted
under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca of the money

That the Said Treasurer pay to Colo Samuel Smith one hundred
hhds of Tobacco on Account.
Ordered that the Issuing Commissary deliver to Jubb Fowler
Messenger to the Governor and Council two hundred pound Beef and
two hundred pounds of Flour, charging him therewith, on Account
of which is to be rendered this Board.
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to John Wheeler late a
Matross in Capt Dorseys Company of Artillery one Coat, one Waist-
coat, one pair Breeches, one pair Stockings, one pair Shoes, one shirt
and one hat, part of the Clothing due him and also to Henry Lynn
a Matross in the Maryland Artillery one Jacket, one pair Breeches,
one pair Stockings and one pair Shoes on Account. —
That John Shaw, Armourer deliver to Colo Stone two pound of
Musket powder to be returned. —
That the western shore Treasurer pay to Joseph Barns eight
pounds, eight shillings and ten pence of the Bills emitted under the
Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca of the money appropri-
ated for the present Campaign per Account passed by the Aud.

Commission of Letters of Marque and Reprisal issued to John
Kelly Commander of the Brigantine Patsey Rutledge burthen 141
Tons navigated by 20 Men, mounting 8 Carriage Guns, belonging to
Archibald Buchanan of Maryland, and John Ross of Philadelphia
dated 9th July last.
