Whereas it appears to this Board by the Representation and
Recommendation of Thomas Johnson Esqr that General Harrington
of the State of North Carolina hath removed into this State for the
preservation of his Property and is entitled to the Indulgences
granted to Persons under such Circumstance in the "Act to raise
the supplies for the Year seventeen hundred and eighty two "; the
said General Harrington has the Approbation of the Board to settle
in this State.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Hanson
Esqr fifty Pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission
of Bills of Credit &ca the Interest and part of the Principal of a
Certificate issued agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due from
this State for which a Receipt is to be given on the back of the
Certificate.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Hamilton eleven Pounds
thirteen shillings and four pence, Robert Burris twelve Pounds and
John Dicks thirteen Pounds, one shilling and eight Pence of the
same Emission per Accts passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Clement Skerrett twenty
three Pounds, thirteen shillings for Stores to the 1st July and also
thirty Pounds of the same Emission in lieu of a Suit of Cloaths &
four Shirts for the present year on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Robert Denny thirteen
Pounds ten shillings specie to be delivered over to Lieut Clement
Skerrett part of the thirty Pounds directed to be advanced by the
Act relating to Public Creditors and to be accounted for.

of Elk, whither he has Occasion to send the Boat Plater immediately.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Roger McAllister
nineteen Pounds, six shillings and six Pence of the Bills emitted
under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca due on two
Accounts passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Morgan, one hundred and
eleven Pounds, nine shillings and four Pence specie agreeable to the
Act to adjust the Debts due from this State per Certificates adjusted
and Passed.
