We request you to deliver Mr Crisall, all the public Cattle in your
Possession, they are much wanted for this Post.

We request you will have the Soldiers Cloathing made up; those
in particular who have lately returned from Fort Pitt are so very
naked, that we wish you to have them clad as soon as possible and
whatever you contract for in Payment for making them, shall be
punctually complied with

Altho' we have great Demands on us for the public Flour, yet in
Consideration of the Consequence the Detention of your Vessel is to
you and relying on your fulfilling your Promise to return it in a few
Days, we have enclosed you an Order on Mr Tillard for 30 Barrels,
and should have given an Order on the Commissary of Ann Arundel
for the Quantity you desire on McCubbin's Mill, but all the public
Flour is removed from thence.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Capt John Gassa-
way twenty nine pounds, five shillings and three pence of the Bills
emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca of the
money appropriated for the present Campaign for Stores on Account
Commission issued to Peregrine Lethrbury appointed Major of the
13th Battalion of Militia in Kent County. —

Thursday 13th December 1781.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Nicholas Dorsey
four pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of
Bills of Credit &ca of the money appropriated for the present Cam-
paign per Acel passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Nicholas Dorsey seven pounds, ten
shillings of the same Emission, of the money aforesaid due him per
Account passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt James M. Lingan one hun-
dred pounds of the same Emission of the money appropriated for
the Defence of the State to be expended in the recruiting service on
Account.
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to John Bowden a soldier
in the Maryland Line, one Blanket and to John Coats a soldier as
aforesaid one pair Shoes, one pair Stockings & one pair Breeches. —
