That the said Treasurer pay to Colo Henry Hollingsworth three
hundred and ninety eight Pounds, nine shillings and nine Pence
specie agreeable to the Act aforesaid per Accounts and Certificates
adjusted and passed.
On the Petition of Samuel Gerock, who was by Bond bearing
Date 20th August 1781 for good Behaviour and not to Depart Balti-
more County &ca Ordered that he be released from that Part of the
Obligation which Confines him to Baltimore County.

[Council to General Smallwood]

A Letter from Lieutenant Pendergast to you, requesting to be
furnished with some Necessaries for House Keeping, has been laid
before this Board. We know not what the Officers in Quarters, or
Garrison Towns, are entitled to by the Regulations of Congress. We
intend to write to the Secretary at War on this Subject, mean Time
we will endeavour to supply them with such necessary Articles as you
may require.

You will furnish to the Order of the Honble Messrs William Paca,
Robert Goldsborough, and Matthew Tilghman, or any two of them,
such Arms and military Stores, as they may deem necessary for
fitting out the Barges. We have requested Mr Poe to lend you such
Things for this Purpose, as he may have in Possession belonging to
the Continent, as you will perceive by the enclosed Letter.

We understand you have in your Hands some Cannon and military
Stores belonging to the Continent. Probably Mr Keeports will have
Occasion to borrow same for fitting out the Barges, in which Case,
we wish you to supply him on Account of the State, and we will
have what you lend him, replaced in Time, or get Congress to ratify
the Loan.

Doctr Robert Smith of His Britanic Majestys General Hospital,
having heretofore given his Parole of Honor to Lieut General Count
Rochambeau to remain at Annapolis until he had Permission from
His Excellency General Washington to remove from thence : He is
hereby Permitted to remain at Baltimore Town instead of Annapolis
