That the said Treasurer pay to John Howard fourteen Pounds
seventeen shillings of the same Emission due per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Mrs Grahame one hundred and
eleven Pounds four shillings and four pence of the same Emission
due her on a Certificate issued agreeable to the Act to adjust the
Debts due from the State.
That the said Treasurer pay to Joseph Allen thirty shillings. Ned
Snowden a Draught from Prince Georges County, eight Pounds
eleven shillings and eight pence and John Jackson nine Pounds, one
shilling and eight pence of the same Emission due per Accounts
passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Allen Quynn Esqr seventy nine
Pounds, nine shillings and six pence specie due for Wood purchased
by him per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Fred. Green five pounds, two
shillings & eleven pence specie for Postage of Letters & also to Govr
Lee twenty five shillings for the like sum advanced by him to an
Express.

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to James Tootell
twenty four pounds, six shilings and also to Daniel Wells eleven
Pounds, eighteen shillings and six pence Specie due them for Rum
and Beef furnished the French Ships of War.

[Council to Honble Intendant]

Being informed by General Smallwood that there are about twenty
six disabled Soldiers belonging to the Maryland Line, now in this
City, returned from the Southern Army much distressed for Cloath-
ing. We request you to supply each of them immediately with a com-
plete Suit of Cloathing consisting of the Articles in the enclosed
Return, and to take Measures for providing Suits for about one
hundred and eighty more, eighty of whom are dispersed about the
State, and the others soon expected from the Southward,
1 Coat, 1 Vest, 1 pr Breeches or two Pair of Linen Overalls, 2
Shirts, 2 Pair of Stockings, 1 pr Shoes, 1 Hat, and Blanket; if they
have Linen Overalls, they will not want Breeches or Stockings.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to David Davis
eleven pounds, eleven shillings and eight Pence — John Henry
McCubbin Esqr eighteen Pounds — Daniel Connor ten Pounds, five
shillings. Anson Valliant ten Pounds, five Shillings — Roger Con-
nerly ten Pounds, five shillings & Levin Miner eleven Pounds, six-
teen shillings and eight pence of the Bills emitted under the Act for
the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca per Accounts passed.
