That the said Treasurer pay to Colo Normond Bruce forty one
pounds, sixteen shillings and five pence of the same Emission, twenty
five pounds, seven shillings and six pence to be by him retained —
twelve pounds, seventeen shillings and seven pence to be delivered
over to Conrod Hiner and three pounds, eleven shillings & four
pence to William Head due p accts passed —
Commission issued to John Bracco, Jeremiah Banning, Richard
Johns, William Dawson, William Goldsborough, Woolman Gibson
junr, Hugh Sherwood junr, Charles Gardner & James Thomas ap-
pointed Justices of the Peace of Talbot County

Thursday 18th April 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Hugh Keane
five pounds, seventeen shillings and nine pence — due him for Cloth-
ing — and John Voorhees five pounds, nineteen shillings and five pence
of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit
&ca due them p Accounts passed

That the said Treasurer pay to Alexander Smith, nineteen Pounds
seven shillings for Stores to the 1st of May next and also thirty
Pounds of the same Emission in lieu of a Suit of Cloaths and four
shirts for the present Year on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Mary McGraw sixteen pounds ten
shillings of the same Emission for the monthly pay of her Husband
James McGraw deceased from the 1st of August 1780 until the 16th
February 1781 the time of his Discharge, it appearing that his De-
preciation has been settled up to the 1st August 1780.

That the said Treasurer pay to William Douglass one hundred
and one pounds, nine shillings and nine pence — John Voorhees four
hundred and seven pounds, ten shillings and eight pence three
farthings and Robert Maxwell senr Esqr twenty seven pounds, six-
teen shillings, Specie agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due
from this State per Accounts and Certificate adjusted and passed. —

That the said Treasurer pay to William Douglass one hundred
and one pounds, nine shillings and nine pence and John Voorhees
one hundred and eighty pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act
for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca due on Certificates issued
agreeable to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " —

Permission is hereby granted to Solomon Simmonds of Kent
County in the State of Maryland to apply to His Excellency General
Washington or the Commanding Officers at the Posts near the Brit-
ish Lines for Leave to go to Long Island in Order to secure an Estate
belonging to his Grand Children. —
