Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Joseph Ashmead
two hundred and sixty pounds, seventeen shillings and five pence of
the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit
&ca due him on a Certificate issued agreeable to the Act to adjust the
Debts due from this State —
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut James Ewing forty one
pounds, twelve shillings and three pence for Stores to the 31 March
1782 and thirty Pounds of the same Emission in lieu of a Suit of
Cloaths and four Shirts for the present Year on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Welch three pounds & ten
shillings of the same Emission for the use of Ninnie Hoskinson due
per Account passed. —
The Board took into Consideration the Allowance to Mr John
Bullen as Barrack Master and Determined that he be allowed thirty
Dollars of the last Emission per Month from the Time of his Ap-
pointment until that Office was by a Regulation of Congress blended
with the Department of Quarter Master. —
Passports and sale Conduct were granted to John Spear of Balti-
more 22d September and John Muir of Annapolis 3d October last
for the purpose of importing Salt only, from St Martins, and Bonds
given for the same, which said Passports are now returned. —
