You are hereby empowered and authorized to impress such Ves-
sels and their Hands, as may be sufficient to transport the public
Horses from Kent Island to Annapolis; And you are also empowered
to impress what Forage may be necessary for the Support of the
said Horses, until they are transported from the said Island, for
which this shalt justify you; and for the Support of any public Horses
that may be under your Care, We do hereby empower you to impress
it and give Receipts for the same

We have yours of the 8th ulto. With Respect to the Cattle you have
on Hand, we request you will have those that are fit, slaughtered and
salted up immediately. We informed you some Time ago, that it
would be unnecessary to collect any more, under our former Orders.
It will be proper for you to make Preparations to receive and secure
the Pork you expect, we will furnish the Money for the Purpose, as
soon as we are able. If Money of the last Emission will answer you
may have that as soon as you please. As you best know what Quan-
tity of Meat to expect, you will be the best Judge of what Quantity
of salt you ought to procure.

of Cloaths, one shirt, one pair Shoes, and one pair of Stockings —
Timothy Donnavan late a soldier in Capt Dorsey's Compy of
Matrosses one Coat, one Jacket, one pair Breeches, one pair Stock-
ings, one pair Shoes & one Shirt part of the Clothing due him —
Major John Lynch one Coat or the value in any other Article, on
Acct of Clothing for the present year — Daniel Willis of the Mary-
land Line one pair Breeches and one pair Stockings — John Scott a
soldier in the 1st Regimt one suit of Cloaths, one Shirt, one pair
Stockings and one pair Shoes on Account — Ace Nickolls late a sol-
dier in the 3d Regt and Alexander McMullen late a Matross in Capt
Dorseys Company, each, a suit of Cloaths, one shirt, one pair of
Shoes and one pair Stockings in part of the Clothing due them —
Barney Munro a soldier in the Maryland Line one Coat, one pair
Breeches one pair Shoes, one pair Stockings and two Shirts on Ac-
count and also to Roger ODonald late a soldier in the Artillery one
suit of Cloaths, one Shirt, one pair Stockings and one pair Shoes. —
