[Council To the Depy Commissary of Kent County]

Judging it unnecessary to continue an Issuing Post at Chester
Town, we have directed Mr Bolton, the Commissary, to deliver over
all the public Provisions and Stores in his Hands, to you.

Commission issued to George Dent appointed Surveyor of Fred-
erick County. —

Tuesday 2d April 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to James Weems
twenty three pounds, eleven shillings and three pence specie agreeable
to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State, due him on four
Certifis adjusted and passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Ann Maccawley one hundred and
thirty one pounds, nine shillings and two pence specie agreeable to
the Act aforesaid per Certa adjusted and passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Nathaniel Kahil a Draft from
St Marys County nine pounds, fifteen shillings of the Bills emitted
under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca due him per
Account passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Joshua Lacklin thirty one pounds,
nine shillings and two pence of the same Emission to be paid over
to Ann Maccawley per Certificate adjusted. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Benjamin Fickle forty two
pounds, four shillings and six pence for Stores on Account

Wednesday 3d April 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to James Wood
four pounds, eleven shillings and eight pence — Samuel Moledge
seventeen pounds, two shillings and six pence — Richard Duvall ten
pounds, eight shillings and four pence — Isaac Fickle eleven pounds
eight shillings and four pence of the Bills emitted under the Act for
the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca due them per Accounts passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut John Lavascher seven
pounds, of the same Emission in lieu of an Order of the 4th of Sep-
tember last on the Issuing Commissary returned uncomplied with
on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Benjamin Fickle seven
pounds, eighteen shillings for deficiency of Clothing in the year 1781
and also thirty pounds of the same Emission in lieu of a Suit of
Cloaths and four Shirts for the present Year on Account
