i Wednesday Morning, June 8. 1748.

The House met according to Adjournment & all the Members
appeared that were present yesterday except Mr Philip Hammond
and Mr Lloyd. Mr Thomas Hammond hath Leave of the House to
go home. The Bill entituled, an Act for dividing St Paul's Parish
in Queen Anne's and Talbot Counties &c. was read the second time
and will pass, and was sent to the Upper House by Capt. Tilghman
and Mr John Goldsborough. Col. King from the Committee ap-
pointed to enquire into the Facts contained in the remonstrance
made by Jonas Green printer, delivers to Mr Speaker the following
report; Viz.
