this State per Certificates passed by the Audr Genl

Saturday 20th October 1781.
William Chard from Calvert County and James Hill from Cecil
County Draughts, having been recommended by Doctr James Murray
as proper Objects for Discharges, are therefore hereby Discharged
from the Duty for which they were Draughted.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Howe
Ridgate two hundred and fifteen pounds eleven shillings and eleven
pence farthing of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission
of Bills of Credit &ca of the money appropriated for the Defence of
the State forty pounds thirteen shillings and six pence to be delivered
over to Philip Thomas and one hundred and seventy four pounds,
eighteen shillings and five pence farthing to Thomas Hungerford
per Account & passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to John and Saml Davidson six hun-
dred and forty one pounds, three shillings and six pence of the same
Emission of the money appropriated for the present Campaign, five
hundred and twenty Six pounds, eight shillings and three pence part
thereof to be by them retained, nineteen pounds, ten shillings for the
use of Jacob Haass, six pounds, thirteen shillings and nine pence for
the use of Thomas Grahame and Eighty eight pounds, eleven shillings
and six pence for Benjamin Fairbairn due them per Accts passed by
the A. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Valentine Green eighty four pounds,
thirteen shillings of the same Emission, of the money aforesaid per
Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Hannah May and Alice Redman
each, twenty shillings of the same Emission of the money aforesaid
due them per Accounts passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Mary Watson the wife of a Soldier
who was killed at an entertainment given the Officers of the Maryland
Line by the Citizens of Annapolis two pounds, ten shillings of the
same Emission of the money aforesaid.
