Monday 27th August 1781.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Hanson
six hundred and thirteen pounds eight shillings Specie agreeable to
the Act to Adjust the Debts due from this State per Acct of Certifi-
cates passed by the Audr Genl the 24th Instant.
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to Capt. Lilburn Williams
sixteen Gallons Rum & Sixty four pounds of Sugar for Stores to
1st Septr 1781 on Account

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Major John
Eccleston three pounds fifteen Shillings of the Bills emitted under
the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit not exceeding 200,000s
&ca of the money appropriated for the present Campaign for stores
on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Robert Denny one thousand
pounds of the same Emission of the money aforesaid to be expended
in the pay of Bounties to the Recruits and Accounted for.

That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Lilburn Williams six pounds
of the same Emission of the money aforesaid for Stores to I Sept.
1781 on Acct

That the said Treasurer pay to Major Alexander Roxburgh, ten
pounds two shillings and six pence of the same Emission of the
money aforesaid per Account passed by the Aud. Genl

That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. John Swan of Baylors Horse
going on business to Philadelphia from General Greene, Thirty
pounds of the same Emission of the money aforesaid, to be accounted
for.

That the said Treasurer pay to Serjeant Fullam Seven pounds ten
shillings of the same Emission, of the money aforesaid, for the taking
up five Deserters from the 3d Regimt per Certa from Capt. John
Mitchell.

That the Issuing Commissary deliver, what sugar is due the Offi-
cers of the third Regiment now about to march, upon orders not
disposed of, and deliver the remainder to the Quarter Master to be
forwarded with the Sd Regt

That the western shore Treasurer pay to General Smallwood seven
hundred and ninety one pounds, two shillings Specie in part of the
four thousand pounds, to be distributed to the Officers and Soldiers
ordered to the Southward agreeable to the " Act relating to Public
Creditors "
