Town within the Time, if it can possibly be done and have it inspected,
if the whole cannot be delivered at Baltimore Town, what is deficient
will be deposited at George Town, or at such Places on the navigable
waters of chesepeak as will be convenient and least Expensive. It
is not in our power to inform you when the Flour can be delivered,
but every Endeavour will be used to comply with the requisition. We
cannot help observing that Mr Morris's Letter this Day received is
dated on the 8th had [it] been be forwarded sooner, we have no
Doubt, but we should have been able to have complied with the requi-
sition in Time. For your more particular Information we refer you
to Mr Calhoun.

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Benjamin Shaw
and Walter Brooke, each, Two pounds Sixteen shillings of the Bills
emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit not exceed-
ing 200,000£s &ca of the money appropriad for the present Campaign
due them for rations per Accots passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Purely Three pounds
fifteen shillings of the same Emission of the money appropriated as
aforesaid due him per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Johnson junr Two pounds,
five shillings of the same Emission of the money appropriated as
aforesaid for the like sum advanced an Express from Alexandria on
Public Service.
That the said Treasurer pay to Joseph Brewer six pounds one
shilling of the same Emission of the money appropriated as aforesaid
due him p Acct passed by the A. Gl
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Robert Denny Thirty Pounds
of the same Emission of the money appropriated as aforesaid to be
delivered over to Thomas Richardson, Michael Clancy, Joseph Blaze,
William Cox, William George & John Courts, each, five pounds
Soldiers of the Maryland Line returned from Captivity in So. Caro-
lina in a Distressed situation on Account.

Three hundred and four Pounds, nineteen shillings and eleven pence
Specie agreeable to the " Act to adjust the Debts due from this State."
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Samuel McPherson eight
Pounds fifteen shillings of the Bills emitted under the " Act for the
Emission of Bills of Credit not exceeding 200,000£s &ca " of the
money appropriated for the present Campaign for Clothing on
Account.
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Samuel Duvall late a
soldier in the 2d Maryland Regiment one hat, one Coat, one Waistcoat
