That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. John Smoot three pounds
thirteen shillings and two pence Specie, John Dean two pounds Specie
and to Charles Eccleston one pound Specie agreeable to the " Act to
adjust the Debts due from this State " per Accounts passed by the
Aud. Gen' 2d June last. That the said Treasurer pay to John Muschett
Thirteen pounds fifteen shillings and two pence Specie agreeable to
the said Act per Account passed by the Aud. Genl

We wrote you yesterday to purchase or seize one hundred Head of
Beef Cattle which by Mistake was directed to Mr Jenifer, we only
meant that you should collect one hundred Head in the whole in
Charles County, and if you have procured that Number, it will be
unnecessary to exceed it at present. You will forward the Cattle to
this Place as soon as possible in Droves not less than twenty Head at
a Time, to enable you to expedite this Business you will receive [by]
this opportunity forty Pounds of the new Emission, which is to be
passed as specie and only for Expences incurred since the 19th Day
of June last.

have directed Money to be paid for the deficient Rations and beg
you to appoint some Person to receive and distribute it.
