[Council to Delegates in Congress.]

By the enclosed resolution of the general Assembly you will observe
the Anxiety they are under from having the British Prisoners in this
State under our Present Circumstances. In Consequence of which
we have instructed Colo Wood to remove those Prisoners immediately
from Fort Frederick to the Northward, Orders are also sent to the
Lieutenant of Washington County to furnish a Guard and to Colo
Price to supply Provisions on the March to Pensylvania. We have
wrote on this Subject to the Board of War and must request that you
will communicate the Resolution of the Assembly to Congress and
the Board of War so that Measures may be taken without Loss of
Time for the reception of those Troops as soon as they shall get in
Pensylvania.
