Steward second Lieut and Thomas Constable Ensign of Capt James
Tool's Company in the Baltimore Town Battalion of Militia in Balti-
more County.
Richard Deale a Draught from the Militia of Ann Arundel
County, having been refused by Colo Adams Commandant in the City
Annapolis and having appeared before this Board on Examination
is found to be unfit for the service and is therefore Discharged.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Ralph Forster
Forty pounds on Account of House Rent.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Martin Ridenour five hundred
and sixty one Pounds, three shillings and four pence in lieu of one
hundred and forty pounds, five shillings and ten pence specie for the
use of his Company of Militia on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Colo Samuel Smith two thousand
six hundred and nineteen pounds, twelve shillings and six pence for
the use of his Battalion of Militia on Account.

seven hundred and fifty four pounds in lieu of one hundred and
eighty eight pounds ten shillings specie for the use of his Company
of Militia on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Colo Charles Swearingen one hun-
dred and eighty four pounds sixteen shillings in lieu of forty six
pounds four shillings specie for the use of his Detachment of Militia
on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Michael Divel one hundred and
sixty one pounds ten shillings and two pence in lieu of forty pounds,
seven shillings and six pence half penny Specie for the use of a party
of Militia under his Command on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. James Pattison one hundred
and seventy seven pounds seventeen shillings in lieu of forty four
pounds, nine Shillings and three pence specie for the use of the De-
tachment of his Company of Militia on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Jubb Fowler forty one pounds
thirteen shillings and four pence on Account of his Salary.

[Council to Doctor Schnebeley.]
We have received your Letter concerning the Horses, you will
take the first opportunity to send them to Annapolis, with a return of
those Horses that have died or otherwise lost, the Horse you left
between your House and Annapolis we shall expect you will also
deliver. Harness we presume may be had with the Waggons when
they are sent to the Army and therefore unnecessary for you to
provide them.
