he is desirous of paying to me as fast as he can collect it, if agreeable
to you, please to inclose me an order on him for that Sum, which
I am to apply for the payment of the Flour.
Inclos'd is a List of the Number of Horses I have received from
Sunday Nonjurars of this County and also a List of those I have
received on my purchase. I could have completed my purchase of
Horses before this time had I been furnished with Money, many
people were willing to take such Certificates as would answer to
pay their Tax as far as the Amount of it, but such Certificates as
you directed me to give, not answering that Purpose no person will
take them, I have received from the Collector of the Tax in this
County £4500 on the order you gave me, and expect to day to
receive the Balance, shall be obliged to you to send me another order
on him for Money and Certificates both the sum as large as you can.
The Treasurer informed me yesterday he had received no money
since I was with him. Your Excellency will please to give Mr Sprigg
