Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Robert Miles,

That the said Treasurer pay to Nathan Waters fourteen pounds,

one shilling and three pence of the same Emission due him per Acc^t

passed by the A. Gen^l

That the said Treasurer pay to Jane Urquhart, two pounds, nine-

teen shillings and six pence of the same Emission due her per Acc^t

passed by the D. Aud.

That the said Treasurer pay to James Brookes, three thousand

pounds to be delivered over to John Bullen on Account

That the said Treasurer pay to John Chalmers Eight hundred

pounds on Account.

That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Joseph Austin of the

5^th Regim^t one pair woollen Overalls, one pair Shoes, two shirts,

one p^r Stock^rs & one Blanket.

Nixon Dixon first Lieut, Scarborough Parker Second Lieut. belong-

ing to the Snow Hill Battalion of Militia in Worcester County and

also to Philip Scroggin Ensign of Capt. Robert Handy 's Company

in the Wicomico Battalion of Militia in the County aforesaid.

We are informed by his Excellency Governor Jefferson, that the

Convention Troops, and those taken at the Cowpens were at Win-

chester on the 12^th Instant on their March to Lancaster, agreeable

to an Order of Congress of the 3^d Instant as we apprehend there

Troops are by this Time at Know-lands Ferry, the Point from whence

they are to be under the Direction of this State, and must proceed in

a few Days; we think it necessary to communicate these Circum-

stances to your Excellency that Measures may be adopted to supply

them with Provisions as soon as they arrive in Pensylvania we are

so circumscribed by the Quantities of Provision furnished the De-

tachment under the Marquis that it will be with Difficulty we can

subsist them to your Borders. The Prisoners from this State ordered

to York Town will also proceed in a few Days about eight hundred
