for the present year, and also to Capt David Lynn of the 7 Regt a
suit of Cloaths and Linen for two shirts in part of the Articles for the
year 1781.
On Considering the Charge against Thomas Wall and the Proof
adduced in Support thereof as well as the Defence made by the said
Thomas Wall to exculpate himself therefrom. Ordered that tiie said
Thomas Wall leave Frederick County in a reasonable time after his
wife is delivered of the Child with which she is now pregnant not
exceeding thirty Days, that in the mean time the said Thomas Wall
remain in Frederick Town and that the said Thomas Wall do not
return to Frederick County after his removal therefrom without
the leave of this Board first obtained
Ordered that the said Thomas Wall give Bond with one good
security in the penalty of Five hundred pounds to comply with the
above order.
Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to Colo Adams
fifty pair of shoes

The Marquis La Fayette with fifteen hundred men from the main
Army are now at the Head of Elk and are intended to be transported
down the Bay upon a most important Expedition which are retarded
for the want of Vessels and meat Provisions we most earnestly
request your Assistance on this Emergency and beg you will exert
yourself in forwarding any Vessel you can procure fit for transport-
ing Troops, and if you have any meat Provisions that you will sell
or lend and collect all you possibly can, by Purchase or otherwise, to
do this you will send to all those people who you may think have Beef
on the Hoof. The Vessels to be sent immediately to the Head of
Elk, the Salt Meat, if any to be sent and the Beef on Hoof to be
drove or if those who have Beef will not sell it on the Hoof, you will
hire waggons &ca to bring it immediately to this Place We enclose
you a Warrant for impressing Vessels their Hands Rigging &ca
