Wednesday 28 February 1781

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Martin two
pounds eleven shillings and eleven pence of the new Emission in lieu
of one hundred and six pounds, seventeen shillings and six pence due
him per Account passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Elijah Roboscon seven pounds
ten shilings of the same Emission in lieu of three hundred Pounds
due him per Account passed by the Audr Genl
That the Armour deliver to Lieutenant John Chever thirty six
rounds Musket Cartridges & Six rounds for four pounders.

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Major John
Eccleston of the 5th Regiment nineteen pounds four shillings and
nine pence of the new Emission in lieu of seven hundred and sixty
nine pounds ten shillings due him for Stores per Account passed by
the Auditor
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Thomas Rouse of the 2d
Regimt nineteen pounds, four shillings and nine pence of the same
Emission in lieu of seven hundred and sixty nine pounds ten shillings
due him for stores per Acct passed by the Depy Aud. and also the
further sum of Fifty pounds of the same Emission agreeable to a
Resolution of the General Assembly of the 5th Jany last on Account.
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to Major John Eccleston
and Lieut. Thomas Rouse each twenty four Gallons of Rum and
ninety six pounds of sugar due them for the last year, and also to
Thomas Fitzgerald and Gerard Murphy lately deserted from the
British rations until one of the State Boats returns.
That the Commissary of stores deliver to Lieut. Thomas Rouse
Cloth and Trimmings for a suit of Cloaths and Linen for four shirts
due him for the year 1780 and also to John Morrison a Drummer of
the 1st Regimt one hat, one pair Overalls one Vest, two shirts two
pair Stockings, one pair Shoes, one Blanket and one knapsack due
him for the present year.
Warrant issued, directed to Donaldson Yates Esquire Depy Q
Master Genl to impress what Carriages Teams and Drivers may be
necessary for removing the Cannon Stores, Baggage &ca belonging
to the Detachment under the Command of the Marquise De la
Fayette across from Christiana to the Head of Elk and also all
Vessels, hands &ca that are at Elk or else where which may be
necessary.
Warrants issued, directed to John Bullen Esquire to impress all
the Vessels with their hands &ca in the River Severn, to proceed with
