[Council to General Gist]
Mr Keeports informs us he has a Serjeant belonging to the con-
tinental Army employed in the Service of the State, who is extremely
useful in making and repairing Cartouch Boxes and from the Diffi-
culty of procuring so skilful and faithful workman of the kind, we
apprehend the Public will suffer considerable Inconvenience if he
is ordered to join the Army. We therefore should take it as a Favor
if you will give Directions for his continuing with Mr Keeports.
