Friday 19th January 1781.

Joshua Sedwick appointed Inspector for St Leonards Creek Ware-
house in Calvert County in the room of John Manning who refused
to Act.
Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Gassa-
way Thirty seven pounds ten shillings of the new Emission on
Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Brooke Hodgkin fifteen
Pounds of the same Emission on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Rezin Davis of the late
Rawlings's Regimt fifteen pounds, three shillings and four pence half
penny of the same Emission in lieu of six hundred and six pounds,
fifteen shilings due him for Trimgs and making a suit of Regimental
Cloaths for the year 1780.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut. Thomas Luckett of the same
Regiment Eleven pounds, fifteen shillings and ten pence half penny
of the same Emission in lieu of four hundred and seventy one pounds
fifteen shillings due him for Trimmings and making &ca for the
year 1780.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lt James Winchester of 2d Regt
ten pounds fifteen shillings of the same Emission in lieu of four
hundred and thirty one Pounds five shillings due him for Trimmings
and making &ca for the year 1780.

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Daniel Carroll
Esquire nine thousand Pounds on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. William Middleton one
thousand Pounds on Account.
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to James Main a Deserter
from the British Army on his way to Philadelphia five days rations,
& also to Capt Robert Berry seven days provisions for five hands.
That Mr John Shaw receive of Mrs Ann Selby Widow of the late
Joseph Selby all the Cartridge Boxes which had been finished by
Selby and Howard according to their Contract with the State.
Commissions issued to Thomas Harris appointed Lieut Colo Jona-
than Yates Major. Edward Semms first Lieut. Francis J. Gardner
second Lieut. Edwd Boarman Ensign of Captain Henry Boarman
Company. John Lancaster Capt. in the room of Jonathan Yates,
John Neale first Lieut John Vincent second Lieut Joseph Shaw.
Thomas A. Dyson Capt. in the room of Henry Clarkson, Barton
Thorn first Lieut. George Dyson second Lieut. Jonathan Burch
Ensign. John Gardner Captain in the room of John Thomas Henry
Lyon first Lieut. Richard Estep second Lieut. William Barker En-
sign belonging to the twelfth Battalion of Militia in Charles County,
and also to Samuel Luckett appd Captain in the room of Francis
Mastin in the Twenty sixth Battalion of Mila in the same County.
