more extraordinary, as you have in your Address, in Answer to my
Speech at the opening of this Session, made the greatest Professions
of Loyalty to our gracious Sovereign, and Zeal to the common cause ;
and you can not but know, that the greatest Dispatch is absolutely
necessary, to render whatever you shall think fit to contribute, of
real use. This is a Truth not to be denied, and therefore it is that
I postpone the mentioning any other matter to you, 'til we shall
have discharged our Duty upon this Point; which might very easily
have been done in two or three Days. I am sensible that what is past
cannot now be remedied, and that all I can do is to remind you of
your Duty; therefore I earnestly exhort you, as you regard his
Majesty's Honour and Service, and your own Reputation, to dis-
charge it without farther Loss of Time T. Bladen.
On Motion of a Member, for Leave to bring in a Supplementary
Bill to the Act entituled, An Act appointing Commissions for divid-
ing St. Mary's County into four Parishes, and to erect that Part
of All Faith, and King and Queen Parish, laying in Charles County
into a distinct Parish; Leave given.
On Motion of a Member for Leave to bring in a Supplementary
Bill to the Act entituled, An Act to enable certain Commissioners
therein named, to lay out forty Acres of Land into eighty Lots, for
a Town on Indian River in Worcester County; as also forty Acres
of Land into eighty Lots, at the Head of Asseteague Creek, at a
Place commonly called the Trapp, for a Town; Leave given Mr
Wootton, from the Committee to inspect the State and Condition
of the Arms and Ammunition and Accounts relating thereto, brings
in the following Report.

By the Committees for inspecting the Arms, Ammunition, and
Accounts relating thereto, Augt 1745. Your Committee, having
viewed and inspected the Quality and quantity of the Arms and Am-
munition of this Province, now in the City of Annapolis, do find
the same as follows, viz.
In the Council Chamber
481 Muskets, 71 Pistols, 72 Swords, 24 Trumpets, 11 Drums, 48
Buckets, 44 Cartouch Boxes, 76 Halberts and Pikes, 12 Carbines
with Bayonets and Slings (Imported since last Session per the
Baltimore)
In the Room over the Conference Chamber
38 Carbines, Slings, and Bayonets, (Imported since last Session
by the Baltimore) 122 Muskets with Bayonets and Slings, 20 Drums,
4 Pair of Pistols, 14 Horseman's Swords and Belts, 3 Cases and
a half of Matches, 24 Pair of Holsters, 72 Sword Belts.
