Messrs Carrol and Hall from the Lower house acquaint his Excel-
lency they have a sufficient number of Members met and wait his
Excellencys Commands
Col Lloyd and Col Tasker are sent to Acquaint the Lower house
that his Excellency Requires the Speaker and the house to attend
him immediately in the Upper house
The Speaker and the Lower house attended and His Excellency is
pleased to make the following Speech
Gentlemen of the Upper and Lower houses of Assembly
As I am very Sensible of the Inconveniencies that attend Our
meeting together at this Season of the Year It is with Great Reluc-
tance that I call you from your Several Homes; but I thought it my
