horse Races near the Yearly meetings of the People called Quakers
and to prevent the Tumultious Concourse of Negroes and other
Slaves during the said Meetings; the other, An Act impowering
certain Commissioners therein mentioned to Lay out and Set a Price
or Cause a Price to be set on Two Acres of Land in Saint Margarets
Westminister Parish in Ann Arundel County whereon the Chappel
of Ease belonging to the said Parish now Stands; Thus Subscribed
1st July 1747
Read and assented to by the Lower house of Assembly.
