most Loyal and Dutifull Subjects the Delegates of the Freemen of
Maryland further to manifest our Duty and Zeal for his Majesty's
Service and to the Utmost of our Power to Promote the intended
Expedition to Canada against the Common Enemy and for the Pres-
ent Support and maintainance of the said Forces so raised within
this Province do Humbly Pray that it may be Enacted And be it
Enacted by the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary by & with
the Advice and Consent of his Lordships Governour and the Upper
and Lower Houses of Assembly & the Authority of the same That
the sum of Nine hundred Pounds Current money in Bills of Credit
of this Province out of the money remaining in the Office of the
Commissioners or Trustees for Emitting Bills of Credit Established
by Act of Assembly shall be and is hereby Appropriated and Applied
to the Uses and Purposes herein after Directed and the Commission-
ers or Trustees of the said Office are hereby impowered and directed
to pay the same in manner and form and to the Persons herein after
mentioned That is to say Immediately after the end of this Session
of Assembly the said sum of Nine hundred pounds out of any money
or Bills of Credit remaining in the said Office except such money or
Bills of Credit as hath heretofore been or which shall be paid into
the said Office in Virtue of An Act of Assembly heretofore made
Entituled An Act for raising and issuing money for maintaining
his Majestys Forces to be raised in this Province and for Transport-
ing them to the Place of Rendezvous in the West Indies and the said
Commissioners or Trustees shall also Pay the sum of Two hundred
Pounds Eight Shillings and four pence Current money being the
Ballance remaining in the Office unapplied of the sum of Three
Thousand pounds Granted by Virtue of the before first mentioned
Act for Providing Necessaries for and Transporting his Majesty's
Forces raised within this Province to Albany in the Province of
New York unto Colonel John Scarborough Captain Thomas Robins
and Master Isaac Morris or any two of them who are hereby Em-
powered and Directed to receive the said Two sums amounting in
the whole to Eleven Hundred Pounds Eight Shilling's and four pence
and to sign Receipts to or give Orders on the said Commissioners
or Trustees for the same from time to time as they shall see needfull
And be it further Enacted That they the said Colonel John Scar-
borough Captain Thomas Robins and Master Isaac Morris be and

are hereby Constituted Agents for this Province to Receive the
sd Money or Bill of Credit and are hereby Authorized and Directed
to Lay out and Apply the sum of One thousand Pounds Eight
Shillings and four pence part thereof in the Purchase of Good Mer-
chantable Barrelled Pork and Beef and Payment of Freight for the
same and other Incident Charges which Pork and Beef when by
them so Purchased they are hereby directed to ship on Board some
good Vessel or Vessels together with Thirty eight Barrels of Pork
now remaining in the hands of Benjamin Tasker Esqr Colonel
