the place of Rendezvous On Examination find them right and unani-
mously approve of the Conduct and Management of those Gentle-
men in relation thereto and Resolved that the Agents appointed for
the aforesaid Uses be allowed £100..0..0 for their Trouble and that
there be a Clause for that purpose incerted in the Bill now preparing
by the Committee of Laws. On reading the Petition and Complaint
of Doctor Carroll The Question was put Whether this house shall
Address the Governour on the Subject Matter of the said Complaint,
or not.

Doctor Carroll having delivered into this House a Narrative Com-
plaining of Insults and Abuses from the Governour Thomas Bladen
Esqr in discharge of his Duty under the Trust reposed in him by the
Legislature on Account of the Canada Expedition
It is Resolved that so far as it appears by the Examination intc
the Behaviour of him the said Charles Carroll he hath faithfully dis-
charged the Trust reposed in him and fully Answered the Expecta-
tions of the Country and Although this House at present Waives
Addressing his Excellency the Governour on the Complaint delivered
in Yet. Resolved and determined to Support the Fundamental Rights
of the House of Delegates and its Members in the lust Executior
of their Duty upon all occasions
Ordered that the Committee of Accounts prepare and bring in the
lournal of Accounts on Tuesday Morning next.
The House Adjourns untill Monday Morning at 9 o'clock
