the Bread as before Calculated and which We
Conceive may be drawn on Mr Wm Hunt Mercht - 425.. 5.. 0
in London who has Mony in his hands will lessen
the Current Mony to be taken out of the Office
So that there will be taken out of the Office only 738.. 11.. 8

Which sum of £738.. 11.. 8 or that of £1163..16..8 We apprehend
may be raised by either of these means viz. out of the Mony now in
the hands of the Commissioners of the Loan office formerly paid in
on the late ordinary License Law and yet unapplied, or by borrowing
from the Loan office that sum to be replaced by a further Continua-
tion of the Ordinary License Law now Subsisting
All which is humbly Submitted to the Consideration of the House
Signed p order V Denton Clk.
On Reading the aforesaid Report Resolved that the Sum of £800.
be taken out of the Paper office to purchase Beef Pork Tobacco and
other the purposes in the Report mentioned and be replaced by a
further Continuation of the Ordinary Licence Law And that the

Sum of £i89..o..o Sterling be taken out of the hands of Mr William
Hunt Merchant in London and be transmitted to New York for
purchasing Bread for the Soldiers. Ordered that the Committee of
Laws prepare and bring in a Bill accordingly.
The house Adjourns untill the Morrow Morning at 9 of the Clock.

November 8

Saturday Morning Novr 8th 1746.
The house met according to Adjournmt &ca
The proceedings of Yesterday were Read. Colo Henry appeared
in the House. Mr Daniel Sullivane a Member returned to serve for
Dorchester County appeared in the house. Capt. Ennalls and Mr
Thomas were Sent to the Upper house to see him qualified. They
return & acquaint Mr Speaker they saw him qualified by taking the
Several Oaths to the Government required by Law Signing the oath
of Abjuration & repeating and signing the Test. The Gentleman
took his Seat in the House.
The House taking into Consideration the Accounts of Benjamin
Tasker Esqr and Doctor Charles Carroll two of the Agents for pro-
viding for and Transporting the Soldiers raised in this province to
