This House met again according to Adjournment

Present as Yesterday
Read the Petition of Francis Warring praying Leave to bring in
a Bill to vest in the Petitioner and the heirs of his Body & for want
of such Heirs in the Heirs of the Body of Basil Warring and Martha
Warring part of two tracts of Land called Manssioscon and Addi-
tion Referred to the Consideration of the Lower House of Assembly
and sent by Richard Lee Esqr
Colo Hollyday delivers the following Report
At A Conference Appointed by the Upper and Lower Houses of
Assembly relating to an Officers Fee Bill on Fryday the 30 day of
August 1745

Who made Choice of Mr Richard Dorsey for their Clerk & then
proceeded to Business; When the Conferees of the Upper House
proposed that the Duration that the Bill should have be first Con-
sidered upon which the Conferees agreed to Resort back to their
respective Houses for Information therein
At the next Meeting the Conferees of the Lower House said that
it was the Opinion of their House that the Bill should have its dura-
tion for seven Years and to the end of the next Session of Assemblv
which should happen after the Expiration of the said seven Years
which the Conferees of the Upper House declared to be agreable
to the sence of their House
At the following Meeting it was proposed by the Conferees of
the Upper House that the fees should be setled either in Current
Money or Tobacco absolutely, but before the Conferees came to any
Resolution thereon both Parties Resorted back to their respective
Houses again, And at the next Meeting the Conferees of the Lower
House informed the Conferees of the Upper House that the sence
of their House was that the several Officers fees should be setled in
Tobacco, to which the Conferees of the Upper House agreed
