Messrs Hooper and Tilghman attend with Mr Grundy Pemberton
a Member elected for Queen Anns County in Order to see him quali-
fied who takes the several Oaths to the Government required by Law
repeats and signs the Abjuration and Test and then withdrew
A Bill from the Lower House by Messrs Lloyd and Buchanan
Entituled an Act for raising four Pence, sterling p hhd on all To-
bacco to be Exported out of this Province for purchasing Anns and
Ammunition and for an immediate Supply of Arms for the Defence
of this Province thus Endorsed
