A Question was also put, Whether the following Clause shall stand
as a Part of the said Bill? viz. " And be it likewise enacted, that
from and after the End of this Session of Assembly, the Armourer,
Smith, Gunner, or other Person or Persons employed in taking care
of the Arms and Ammunition, cleaning or repairing the said Arms,
shall be paid their several and respective Salaries or Allowances, for
their respective Service or Services, in the Current Money of this
Province, and not otherwise," Resolved in the Affirmative.
