Col. Hooper delivers Mr Speaker a Bill entituled, An Act for
erecting a County School in Worcester County, and appointing
Visitors for the same; which was read the first Time, and ordered
to lie on the Table.
On Motion of a Member, Leave is given to bring in a Bill for
dividing Prince George's County.
On Motion of a Member, Ordered, that the Committee of Ag-
grievanc.es and Courts of Justice, when they inspect the State of the
several Offices, do likewise enquire in what manner the Probat of
Wills was taken, and the Method of Recording them, before the
erecting the Prerogative Office; and that they make a Report thereof
to the House.
The House adjourns til 2 of the Clock

The House adjourns til To-Morrow Morning 9 of the Clock.

Saturday Morning March 22. 1745

The House met according to Adjournment, and the Proceedings
of Yesterday were read.
The Bill entituled, An Act for Limitation of Officer's Fees, was
read the second Time, passed, and sent to the Upper House by
Capt. Gordon and Capt. Ennalls.
The Bill entituled, An Act continuing an Act of Assemblv of this
Province entituled, An Act to prevent the ill Practices of Sheriffs,
in the collecting and Payment of the Publick and County Levies, was
read the second Time, passed, and sent to the Upper House by Maj.
Sheredine and Col. Henry.
Mr Philip Hammond delivers Mr Speaker the following Report,
with which the House concurs. (See page 241.)

The Association, mentioned in the foregoing Report, is as fol-
loweth. (See page 243)
The House adjourns 'til Monday Morning 9 of the Clock.

Monday Morning, March 24. 1745

The House met according to Adjournment: All members present
as on Saturday, except Mr Addison The Proceedings of Saturday
were read.
On Motion of a Member, Ordered, that the Committee of Laws
