Mr Key from the Committee of Laws, delivers Mr Speaker a Bill
entituled, An Act for the Tryal of all matters of Fact in the several
Counties where they have arisen or shall arise; which was read the
first Time, and ordered to lie on the Table.
Maj. Hall acquaints Mr Speaker that he had qualified Mr Jen-
nings, Clerk to the Committee appointed to inspect the State and
Condition of the Arms &a in the usual Manner.
Col. Hooper from the Committee of Laws delivers Mr Speaker a
Bill entituled,
An Act continuing an Act entituled, An Act for relieving the In-
habitants of this Province from some Aggrievances in the Prosecu-
tion of Suits at Law, and for continuing the supplementary Act
thereto; which Bill was read the first Time, and ordered to lie on
the Table.
The House adjourns 'til To-morrow Morning 9 of the Clock.

Saturday Morning, March 15. 1745
The House met according to Adjournment, and the Proceedings
of Yesterday were read.
The Bill entituled, An Act continuing an Act entituled, An Act
for the Advancement of lustice was read the second Time, passed,
and sent to the Upper House by Mr Courts and Mr Tilghman.
The Bill entituled, An Act continuing an Act entituled, An Act
for the speedy Recovery of small Debts, out of Court, before a single
Justice of the Peace, was read the second Time, passed, and sent to
the Upper House by Mr Tilghman and Mr Bayard.
Mr Hammond from the Committee of Laws delivers Mr Speaker
a Bill entituled, An Act for Limitation of Officers Fees.
On Motion of a Member Leave is given to bring in a Bill for
erecting a Publick School in Worcester County.
Mr Speaker communicates to the House the following Message
from the Governor, in answer to their Address on his Speech
Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly.
Your Address gives me much Satisfaction, as I find in it a strong
Sense of Duty and Zeal for the Person and Dignity of our most,
gracious Sovereign; and an Abhorrence of that wicked and de-
testable Rebellion carried on by the avowed Enemies of Liberty and
our happy Constitution. I make no Question but you will give Mr
Clinton's Letter a proper Consideration. T. Bladen
