to be had and as if the same had been in the said office heretofore

Successors all Bodies Politick and Corporate and all other persons
their Severall and respective rights

An Act for Settlement of Lands therein mentioned on Francis
Waring and the heirs of his Body lawfully begotten.

Whereas Colonel Thomas Greenfield of Prince Georges County
Deceased by his Deed of Gift bearing date the twelfth Day of
February in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fourteen
assigned transferred and made over unto Basil Waring and Martha
his Wife Daughter of the said Thomas Greenfield and to the heirs
of their bodies on the said Martha begotten all that Tract of Land
being part of Mazoonscon and part of Addition lying in the County
afd containing two hundred forty and Six Acres as by the said Deed
recorded among the records of the County afd may appear and
Whereas the said Basil left Issue by her the said Martha his Wife
Thomas and Francis Waring and that the said Martha intending to
Provide for the said Francis did by her Deed of Gift bearing Date
the thirtieth Day of November Seventeen hundred and thirty three
assign transfer and make over the said Lands and premisses unto
him the said Francis in fee for his better Support and maintenance
who finding his title precarious and uncertain therein Hath by his
Petition to this Generall Assembly set forth the premisses, and that
his Eldest Brother the afd Thomas Waring Tenant in Tail is willing
and Desireous that the said Lands should be Settled upon him the
said Francis Waring and the heirs of his Body and for want of such
heirs on the heirs of the said Basil Waring and Martha his Wife
according to the afd Deed of Thomas Greenfield all which and the
consent of the af d Thomas Waring appearing to this Generall Assem-
bly and on fully considering the Case of the Petitioner humbly pray
that it may be enacted And be it Enacted by the right Honourable
the Lord Proprietary by and with the advice and consent of his
Lordships Governour and the Upper and Lower Houses of Assem-
bly and the Authority of the same That the said Tract of Land
being part of Maroonscon and part of Addition in Prince Georges
County afd according to the meets and bounds in the said Deed of
Gift made by the afd Thomas Greenfield to Basil Waring and Martha
his Wife and the heirs of their bodies on the said Martha begotten
or by whatever other ways or means the same is by the said Deed
given or granted containing two hundred forty and Six acres of
