I Governor, which was read, approved of, and ordered to be ingrossed
The House adjourns til To morrow Morning 9 of the Clock.

Saturday Morning, September 28, 1745
The House met according to Adjournment.

The Proceedings of Yesterday were read.
The following ingrossed Address, viz.
To his Excellency Thomas Bladen Esqr Governor of Maryland.
The humble Address of the House of Delegates of the said
Province.
May it please your Excellency.

Upon Examination and Report made by a Committee appointed
by this House there appears to be due to the Publick, on the follow-
ing two Acts of Assembly, viz. An Act for issuing and paying out
of the Office of the Commissioners or Trustees for emitting Bills of
Credit, established by Act of Assembly, the sum of £2562...10 Cur-
rent money, in Bills of Credit, to be applied for the Encouragement
of Persons voluntarily inlisting themselves in his Majesty's Service;
and an Act entituled, An Act for raising and issuing money for main-
taining his Majesty's Forces to be raised in this Province, and for
transporting them to the Place of Rendezvous in the West Indies,
from the respective Sheriffs mentioned in the Accounts hereunto
annexed, the sum of Three Hundred and fourteen Pounds, five
shillings, and one Farthing in different Years.
We therefore pray your Excellency will please to order, that the
Attorney General take proper and legal means to recover the said
Sums from the said respective Sheriffs, for the Uses in the said Acts
provided.
Being read and assented to, was ordered, on Behalf of the House,
to be signed by the honourable Speaker
William Stoughton Esq. and Mr Courts ordered to acquaint his
Excellency, that this House hath prepared an Address to him, and
desires to know when and where he will be pleased to receive it:
They return and acquaint Mr Speaker his Excellency will receive it
in half an Hour in the Conference Chamber.

The same Gentlemen sent to present the Address: They return
and acquaint Mr Speaker they have presented it.
Resolved and Ordered, That the Honourable Speaker, Mr Philip
Hammond, Dr Charles Carroll, Maj. Henry Hall, Mr Thomas
Worthington, Mr Tumor Wootton, Mr Osborn Sprigg, Mr Stephen
Bordley, and Mr John Addison, or any Three of them, receive and
